Speaker Bio:

Francis MacDonald is currently Executive Vice President, Exploration and a co-founder of Kenorland Minerals Ltd. Talk Abstract:

The recently discovered high-grade Regnault gold system is located in the Frotet-Evans belt of Northern Quebec, approximately 40km south of the ~5 Moz Troilus Au-Cu deposit. After two passes of regional exploration, Kenorland Minerals completed an initial drill program in March, 2020 where a new high-grade gold system was discovered.

The best drill intersect on the initial drill program was 29.08m at 8.47 g/t Au with multiple Au-bearing structures being discovered over a strike length of ~2km. This presentation will outline the exploration methods and targeting that lead to a new blind discovery of a previously unknown gold system.
