The ROM Rocks: Eye Candy for the Holidays
Registration is open for our Annual Holiday Party in partnership with the Royal Ontario Museum and the Kirwin Collection!
Meet Katherine Dunnel and Veronica Di Cecco, both geo-technicians at the Royal Ontario Museum, Department of Natural History, working in the Earth Science's collections. The ROM team will give a brief presentation on the status of the Kirwin ore collection, a worldwide suite of 15,000 specimens acquired in 2014. They will also let you in on the exciting next steps for the entire petrology collection at the ROM.
Be sure to bring your hand lens as the ROM team will have interesting and unique samples from this collection at the event.
