Bio
Karen has been a TGDG committee member since 2011. She is a geologist with over 30 years in the mineral exploration industry. She is retired but worked for Barrick Gold for almost 19 years, most recently as Senior Director, Exploration. Before joining Barrick, Karen worked as a geologist for Lac Minerals, Minnova, Muscocho Exploration and Getty Mines. She was a director of the PDAC from 2001 to 2010. Karen received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Queen’s University.
